Memorial in Memory of Macko
This year the Jamaica Foundation for “Headucation” and Social Change (JFHSC) will host two events in Jamaica in memory of Eric “Macko” McNish, journalist, patriot, friend, devoted father and family man, and mentor to a host of young people who befriended him. The first will be a dance/cabaret and the other, another in the popular seminar series, A Season to Come Reason.

Merlene Smashes Another Myth

Little Cleopatra Carr - a true Jamaican Ambassador
Cleopatra Carr, the 11 year-old oratory specialist did her parents, school, her community of Seaview Gardens, teachers and Jamaica proud on her visit in June to South Florida, USA. Guest of honor at the Jamaica United Relief Association (JURA) and Members Only Social Club of Miami-sponsored Premier Independence Ball which was held at the Signature Grand, her poise and flawless delivery was a high point of the event.
